Projects

Projects are the core of Landing Pad Digital Cloud. Each project represents a unique creation: whether it's a website, a landing page, a pop-up or a story. When you first log into your dashboard, you'll see a “Create a New Project” card. As you build more projects, each one will appear as a card alongside it, giving you a visual overview of everything you're working on. What You Can Create When you click on “Create New Project”, you’ll see the three types of projects you can build: 1. Websites & Landing Pages Create multi-page websites or sleek single-page landing pages. Perfect for showcasing a brand, product or service. 2. Pop-ups & Alerts Design custom overlays to use within your site or embed on external websites. Ideal for announcements, lead capture or calls-to-action. 3. Stories Create mobile-optimised, swipeable mini-sites: like visual storytelling pages or lightweight landing experiences. Organising Your Projects As your project list grows, you can easily manage and find what you need using the tools at the top-left of the dashboard: - Search for a project by name - Filter by project type: Websites, Pop-ups, or Stories - Order by Most Recent, Alphabetical and Date Created - View all projects in one place for a complete overview Interacting with a Project Hover over any project card to access more options: - Edit the project - Rename the project - Preview the live version in a browser - Publish to go live instantly - View Leads collected via your forms - Delete the project if no longer needed You can also click the three-dot menu (⋮) to manage your project with quick actions. 💡 Tip: Think of each project card as your creative workspace: customise it, track it and build without limits.

Dashboard Overview

1. Workspaces: lets you structure your projects in sub-accounts. Best used for the client's sub-accounts. 2. Team Members: lets you invite team members to work together on projects. 3. Account settings: access profile settings, sign out link. 4. Projects area: creates a new projects in Landing Pad Cloud. 5. Project actions: access the publishing and other available options for your project. 1. Workspaces The top section of the sidebar shows your active workspace. - Workspaces help you separate client work or personal projects. - You can create a new workspace to keep projects organised. - Each workspace contains its own projects and team members. Note: Team members invited to a workspace will have access to all projects within it. 2. Team Members Under the Workspaces section, click “Team Members” to: - View who currently has access to the workspace. - Invite new team members by email. - Assign roles with different permissions to manage project access. Team members must accept the invitation via email and create a Landing Pad Digital account if they don’t already have one. 3. Account Settings Click on your profile/avatar in the sidebar to access: - Your account profile - Support & documentation - Sign-out option This menu is specific to your user account, not the workspace. 4. Projects Area This is the main area of the dashboard. Here you’ll: - Create new projects by clicking the “+ Create New Project” card. - See each project displayed as a card with its name and actions. - Quickly locate existing projects and filter them by type (e.g., Websites, Pop-ups, Stories). 5. Project Actions Once a project is created, hover over its card to see available options: - Rename the project - Edit to open the project in the builder - Preview to view it live - Publish to make it live online - View Leads collected from forms - Delete the project (only if no longer needed) Use the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top corner of the project card to access these functions. Overview Landing Pad Digital combines AI-powered website generation with intuitive drag-and-drop editing to help you create professional websites in minutes. This guide walks you through creating your first website from account setup to publication. Prerequisites - A valid email address - Modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge) - Basic understanding of your website goals Step-by-Step Instructions Step 1: Create Your Account 1. Visit the Landing Pad Digital website 2. Click "Sign Up" or "Get Started" 3. Enter your email address and create a secure password (minimum 8 characters, including letters and numbers) 4. Verify your email address through the confirmation link sent to your inbox Step 2: Choose Your Creation Method You have 3 options: - AI-Assisted Creation: Describe your business, or connect your Google Business Profile, and let AI generate a customised website - Template Selection: Browse pre-built templates and customise it to fit your brand. - From scratch: Start off with a blank canvas and add your own elements For AI-Assisted Creation: 1. Click "Create New Project" > Website & Landing Page > "Generate with AI" 2. Provide your business name and description, or connect your Google Business Profile, and watch as our AI automatically fetches key details to build a tailored, professional website just for you. For Template Selection: 1. Click "Create New Project" > Website & Landing Page > "Start with a Template" 2. Filter by category (Business, Creative, Technology, etc.) 3. Preview templates by clicking on thumbnails 4. Click "Use This Template" on your chosen design 5. Enter the editor to begin customisation Step 3: Publish Your Website 1. In the Dashboard, click in the custom url from your Project (https://yoursite.landingpad-digital.site) 2. Choose your publishing option: - Use a free Landing Pad subdomain (https://yoursite.landingpad-digital.site) - Connect your own custom domain 3. Configure basic DNS settings 4. Your website is now live! Tips & Best Practices - Save Frequently: Use Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on Mac) or click the 'Update" regularly - Mobile-First: Always check mobile preview - over 60% of web traffic is mobile - Keep It Simple: Start with minimal content and expand gradually - Use High-Quality Images: Stock photos are available in the image library - Test Before Publishing: Click all links and buttons to ensure they work Common Questions - Can I edit after publishing?
